Redding, California - It is with profound sadness that the Nor-Cal Alliance For The Missing team acknowledges the recent news release from the Redding Police Department, revealing that the remains of Cort Jones have been located on May 19, 2023. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Cort Jones during this unimaginably difficult time.
Nor-Cal Alliance For The Missing was established in response to the disappearance of Cort Jones, a beloved individual whose absence has deeply impacted our community. On 10-10-23, Redding PD arrested Erick Eugene Card of Chico, California, for the homicide of Danielle Renee Bisnell. On 12-8-19, Danielle was reported missing. It is believed that on the same day, Danielle encountered Erick Eugene Card at 7-Eleven on Eureka Way in Redding, CA. Erick Card convinced her to travel to Oregon with him. Agreeing to return her to Redding, Card changed his mind and became reluctant to take her home. Despite Danielle's pleas to return home in time for her son's 7th birthday, she never arrived home and has not been seen or heard from since. Although her remains have not yet been located, it is believed Card murdered her in Siskiyou County on December 10, 2019.
